URL Encoder & Decoder
Encode URL components or decode percent-encoded text without changing the original input.
What does this tool do?
URL encoding replaces characters that have a special meaning in a URL with percent-encoded sequences. This tool is useful when working with query parameters, links and API requests. It encodes a component rather than rewriting an entire URL structure.
How to use it
- Paste the text or URL component.
- Choose Encode or Decode.
- Review the output and copy it into your project.
Common uses and tips
Use this for query parameter values and individual URL components. Do not encode an entire URL blindly if you need its separators such as ?, &, and = to remain structural.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this encode a whole URL?
It encodes the input as a URL component. If you need to preserve URL separators, select and encode only the component that requires it.
What if decoding fails?
The tool reports invalid percent-encoding rather than silently changing the input.
Is my input uploaded?
Encoding and decoding happen in your browser.

What Toolvuno does
Toolvuno provides free browser-based utilities for common image, PDF and text tasks. The current site does not require an account to use the available tools.
Files and text you process
The current image tools and Word Counter process the selected files or text in your browser. Toolvuno does not intentionally send those inputs to a Toolvuno application server for processing. The PDF Compressor in Version 1 also operates locally and may return the original PDF unchanged when safe browser-only recompression is not available.
Theme preference
Toolvuno stores your selected Light, Dark or System theme preference in your browser's local storage. This preference is used only to remember the interface choice on this device.
Cookies, advertising and analytics
This Version 1 package contains no advertising provider integration. It also does not add a third-party analytics script in the static build. If analytics, advertising or other third-party services are added in a future release, this policy should be updated to explain what information those services collect and why.
External services
Toolvuno does not ask you to create an account or provide personal information to use the current browser-based tools. Your web host may independently maintain normal technical server logs; those practices are controlled by the hosting provider and should be documented separately when applicable.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Toolvuno's functionality or third-party integrations change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
Contact
For privacy questions, use the contact method published by the site owner when a production support address is configured. Toolvuno does not publish a fabricated email address.
Terms of Use
